Sadly, most Americans don’t really know much about the Federal Reserve (“Fed”) and most don’t even realize that we have a debt-based currency.  Nor do they understand where our money comes from. Sure, most people have heard of the Fed but most don’t really understand what the Fed is and how it works, including some financial professions. Before you can fully understand how our monetary system really works, it’s important to have at least a basic understanding of the Federal Reserve so here’s a 7 minute video that explains the Fed.
